Since yesterday, Twitter is flooded with old tweets made by debutant director MS Rajashekhar Reddy. The tweets show his political views.
A self-proclaimed fan of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the young director never hid his love for the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. But controversy began when one of his alleged old tweets went viral.
In one particular snapshot of the tweet, he seemed to have targeted Kamma and Kapu caste groups and used filthy words. But Nithiin defended the director by saying the snapshots of his tweets are fake.
"They are fake ones created by fake people,” he declared.
On Wednesday, producer and Nithiin’s father, Sudhakar Reddy, and director MS Rajashekhar Reddy complained to the Cyber Police of Hyderabad.
They said a conspiracy against their film is going on. Some persons with malicious intentions are spreading fake tweets, they alleged.
Nithiin’s “Macharla Niyojakarvagam” is scheduled to hit the theaters on August 12, 2022.
But the damage has already been done to the film.
