Biopic of this selfless woman is being made in multi languages with a popular actor reprising her.
The social services of Uma include 2 lakh dialysis, more than 20,000 heart surgeries, hundreds of kidney transplants, schools for tribal communities and low-cost houses for deprived.
Donated her kidney to a totally stranger, she is also the first altruistic kidney donor of India.
Vigneswaran Vijayan who previously directed film biopic Traffic Ramasamy will be helming this project.
