The Telangana government has granted permission to "Adipurush" distributors to commence screenings of the film at 4 a.m. in single-screen theaters. A new Government Order (GO) was issued today.
The existing rule allowing multiple shows in multiplexes remains in place. With the new GO, single-screen theaters can hold five or six shows during the first three days.
The GO clearly states that this permission is limited to three days, starting from the release day (June 16).
Furthermore, a Rs 50 increase in ticket prices has been approved for single-screen theaters. Therefore, in Telangana, the film will be priced at Rs 235 in single cinemas and Rs 295 in multiplexes.
"Adipurush" is one of the most highly anticipated films, generating a significant amount of hype. Advance bookings in the Hindi market are robust, and bookings in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will be available starting tomorrow.
There are allegations that the Andhra Pradesh government has also agreed to a Rs 50 increase.
