Telugu Cinema has hoisted the flag of pride with RRR and Karthikeya2 this year and at the same time gave a shock with disappointment like Radhe Shyam and a disaster like Liger.
Let us see what all the top stars have done this year. Indeed, some top stars like Allu Arjun have no films this year.

Nagarjuna Akkineni: The year started with Bangarraju of Nagarjuna for Sankranthi as that was the only movie which dared to hit the screens amidst some Covid norms. All the big films like Radhe Shyam. RRR and Bheemla Nayak were postponed though ready for release by that time. That has become a blessing in disguise for Bangarraju which really fared well at the box office. But Nagarjuna's second film of the year 'The Ghost' ended up as a failure.
Naga Chaitanya: His two Telugu films and a Hindi film were released this year. While the first Telugu film Bangarraju was a hit, the second film Thankyou and the Hindi release Lal Singh Chaddha have ended up as the biggest disasters.
Ravi Teja: Ravi Teja came up with three films this year out of which the first two- Khiladi and Ramarao On Duty were biggest flops while Dhamaka scored a big hit.
Pawan Kalyan: Pawan Kalyan came up with only one film 'Bheemla Nayak' this year which made an average performance at the box office. This was a remake of Ayyappayum Koshiyum, the Malayalam hit.
Rana Daggubati: Rana came up with two films- Bheemla Nayak and Vitara Parvam while the former was a moderate performer and the latter was a flop.
Prabhas: Prabhas' Radhe Shyam was a big disappointment while his teaser of Adipurush faced huge criticism this year.
Chiranjeevi: Megastar Chiranjeevi came up with Acharya and Godfather while the former was a colossal disaster and the latter did satisfactory business at the box office.
Venkatesh: Venkatesh scored success with F3 while making his presence felt in the film Ori Devuda as God.
Mahesh Babu: Mahesh came up with Sarkaru Vaari Paata and did good business at the box office, though critically not appreciated much.
Vijay Devarakonda: This actor spent a great time shooting for 'Liger' and tasted a bitter disaster at last.
Raja Shekhar: Dr Rajasekhar attempted with 'Sekhar' but went without a trace at the box office.
Junior NTR-Ram Charan: Ram Charan and NTR made their year with RRR. They participated in the promotions of the film since the beginning to fag end of this year owing to post reelase publicity and Oscar promotions.
Nikhil: Nikhil came up with Karthikeya 2 and 18 Pages while the former was a super hit and the latter did satisfactory business at the box office.
Allari Naresh: Allari Naresh attempted with 'Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam' and tasted bitter disaster.
Sharwanand: Sharwanand came up with two films- Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu and Oke Oka Jeevitham. While the former was a disaster and the latter did satisfactory business at the box office.
Nani: Nani came up with 'Ante Sundaraniki' and did good business at the USA box office but failed at the domestic market.
Nithiin: Nithiin came up with only one film 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' this year but went without a trace at the box office.
Adivi Sesh: This talented actor greeted the audience with two films- Major and Hit2 while the first one proved to be a good hit, the one also did satisfactory business at the box office.
Siddhu Jonnalagadda: He scored the first big hit in his career with the film DJ Tillu and stood up as a youth icon among the heroes.
Naga Shaurya: Naga Shaurya came up with only on film 'Krishna Vrinda Vihari' and tasted box office failure.
