Adivi Sesh’s highly anticipated project Dacoit promises to deliver a thrilling blend of love, betrayal, and revenge.
Directed by debutant Shaneil Deo, this pan-India action drama featuring adrenaline-pumping sequences will feature Mrunal Thakur playing the lead actress.
The makers announced about casting Mrunal Thakur on Sesh’s birthday, through two intriguing posters featuring the lead pair.
The first poster captures a tense moment where Sesh and Mrunal are seen avoiding watching each other, with seriousness in their faces.
In the second poster, the mood shifts as Sesh exudes a cool attitude. He sits relaxed in a car, and lighting the cigarette. Mrunal, in stark contrast, drives the car with determination, with steering in one hand and a gun in another hand.
Adivi Sesh's character embarks on a revenge mission against his ex-lover, who betrayed him, while Mrunal's character fights back, caught in the emotional storm of past love and present danger.
Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, co-produced by Suniel Narang, and presented by Annapurna Studios, the film is a multilingual venture, being shot in both Hindi and Telugu.
The story and screenplay were penned by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. The film is currently in production in Hyderabad, with an extensive schedule planned in Maharashtra.
