When a director like him chose a new girl as the heroine opposite Prabhas it naturally piqued everyone's interest.
Hanu Raghavapudi cast a girl named Imanvi as the heroine in Prabhas' new film. However, this time, he mentioned that the decision wasn't his alone.
He first came across her videos on social media and then showed them to the producers and the hero.
After that, he contacted her and discussed the possibility of her role in the film. But the process didn’t end there. She was invited to Hyderabad for an audition.
After Prabhas watched her screen test videos, Hanu revealed that she was selected only after Prabhas gave his approval.
He mentioned that it took 15 days to finalize Imanvi for the role. He also shared that if Prabhas had not approved, they had two backup options.
Hanu clarified that Imanvi wasn’t chosen solely because she is a good dancer. He said that her expressive eyes were what caught his attention, and that’s what led to her selection.
Born in Delhi, Imanvi studied in Los Angeles. After working for a few years, she resigned from her job to become a full-time dancer.
