Rajamouli never prefers to do media interactions when his film is under progress. He generally gives interviews or goes to live TV discussion only when his film is due for release.
But he had extensively given interviews to a national news channel and three Telugu news channels during this quarantine period through a video chat from his home.
More importantly, he spoke at length about his upcoming release “RRR”, its content, characters.
Industry buzz is that there is a plan for his sudden media interaction during the quarantine period.
It has now pretty evident that he cannot meet the deadline. “RRR” has to be postponed to summer 2021 or later date as the shooting has abruptly been stopped due to lockdown.
Rajamouli in his media interaction hinted that movie business may not recover for another two years. So, he is fearing that his film would not recover high production cost even if he completes in time and releases it during January 2021.
Through these media interactions, he had cleverly planted the information that the movie may see further delay in release and distributors and fans of Ram Charan and NTR should be prepared for it.
This was his plan to prepare everyone for the delay.
