Without Bakra comedy, Can He Deliver a hit?

Sreenu Vaitla has finally realised that the comedy track that he has used in many films went past over its expiry date.

Hero making a comedian (Brahmanandam in most films) as bakra is trademark comedy element in Vaitla's movies and people loved those episodes in the beginning.

But audiences have started rejecting his movies when he began rehashing the same. All his recent movies got backfired.

He now declares that he will not repeat his old style of comedy in his next movies. He also deleted this bakra comedy in his upcoming release 'Mister' that has Varun Tej, Hebbah Patel and Lavanya Tripathi as the main cast.

"The comedy in Mister is situational. I have not used Bakra track," he told the media. He also gave more space to new comedians like Prudhvi.

"I have reinvented my comedy style in Mister which will be enjoyed by one and all," he said.

Before the release of "Aagadu", Vaitla enjoyed his position as a director who is next only to Rajamouli but the movie's disastrous result changed his fortunes. "Bruce Lee" with Ram Charan has completely put him in shambles and top heroes have refused to give him dates. Hence, he made "Mister" with a budding mega hero like Varun Tej.

The film is crucial to his career. "I know this is very important movie for me. I need to deliver a hit. I have seen failures earlier too and bounced back because flops make think afresh. In Mister, comedy and emotional elements will be novel," he said.

Let's see whether his new kind of comedy would impress the audiences.
