Krisha Vamsi’s woes seem to be never ending. He is already running from pillar to post to get his film Paisa released.
And now comes the news that his multi-starrer may not take off the way he wanted it to.
Krishna Vamsi had high hopes of making a movie with top stars and the line up included Ram Charan, Venkatesh and superstar Krishna.
While Ram Charan agreed to the movie instantly, Krishna chose not to be a part of the film at an early stage. Now comes the news that Venkatesh is not keen on doing the multi-starrer.
Going by the track record of Krishna Vamsi, stars in reckoning usually stay off him.
If one looks at his films, there are very few instances in which he has actually worked with stars.
The only time he managed a hit was with Ninne Pelladuta. However, he followed this with Chandralekha which was a huge dud at the box office and also impacted his rating as a star director.
On the other hand, the films he made with NTR Jr and Prabhas too went on to fail at the box office. Ever since, top stars think twice before committing to Krishna Vamsi.
Another film that truly affected his image was Gopichand’s Mogudu.
Even as one wonders what made Ram Charan to say yes to Krishna Vamsi, he is now minus two stars for his proposed multi-starrer.
The industry has no hopes on Paisa too, which is why there are no buyers for the film. And now, he is already facing many problems for a film that he proposes to make.
But if one looks at Krishna Vamsi’s problem, it is obvious that the creative director needs a good story to put his ideas into action.
In fact, his scripts do not need big stars. If one can recall Sinduram, it hardly had any star power, yet the film is a landmark film in his career. His creativity cannot be questioned, though he has sidelined it for achieving commercial success.
It’s time he revives the creative spirit in him and makes a beautiful film with newcomers. This will be no big deal for Krishna Vamsi given his talent.
Well, it’s time he stops chasing stars and relies on his innate skills to taste success. What say Krishna Vamsi?
