Who Recommended 'Padmashree' For Tabu?

Lately, it is being seen that some of the prestigious award events are getting diluted with lobbying and undeserving individuals getting into the recipient list. Many say that a classic example for that was Dasari Narayana Rao ‘grabbing’ the Nandi award for the best actor category.
 
Now, another name has joined that club and it is none other than Tabu. Apparently, this hefty beauty has been endowed with the prestigious ‘Padmashree’ which has got many to raise their eyebrows in surprise. They are now discussing as to who could have recommended a Padmashree for Tabu who is rarely seen anywhere.
 
Inside talk is that T Subbarami Reddy has got a strong clout when it comes to the Padma awards and grapevine says that Nagarjuna got in touch with TSR and did the needful to ensure a berth for Tabu in the winners list. Whether it is Nag’s recommendation or not, many fail to understand the parameters on which Tabu got this honour.
