Possibly, Sumanth is the unluckiest of the heroes to emerge from the Akkineni family.
Good looking and six feet in height, Sumanth for some reason hasn’t had any success at the box-office except for ‘Satyam’. He has tried experimenting with various kinds of roles, but in vain.
It is said that Akkineni Nageswara Rao got the opening ceremony puja of Annapurna Studios through the hands of Sumanth who was a toddler then. It was ANR’s wish that Sumanth become as great an actor as himself.
Every time a movie of his fails, Sumanth keeps to himself and has even contemplated quitting acting. But a small hope prevents it! The hope that he might yet get that big second hit.
A strong believer in the fact, that if the story and screenplay are good, the movie will be a success, Sumanth keeps trying. But luck just is not on the side of his talented actor.
It would be interesting to see what his next decision is going to be after the failure of ‘Emo Gurram Egaravacchu’.
