As far as the issue of remuneration is concerned, Kajal Agarwal is a controversy-free person. Even when she goes abroad for shooting, she is not fussy about the kind of hotel or accommodation she is provided with and is available for shoot at any hour named by the producer or director, irrespective of the weather conditions.
A recent incident of Kajal came to light when shooting abroad. Kajal had ordered some Italian food and it came with a peg of champagne which was mandatory with that sort of food.
Kajal took the food without touching the champagne for two days and on the third day, feeling guilty for wasting the producer’s money; she supposedly downed two pegs of champagne. She woke up the next day with a swollen face.
The unit, unaware of what had happened was alarmed and cancelled the day’s shooting. Kajal did not tell them the reason either and a lady dance master who happened to find out the truth promptly had the production team shift Kajal’s hotel.
Poor Kajal! She wanted to do justice to the producer for a peg of champagne and ended up wasting a whole day of shooting!
