The general talk among Tollywood circles is that director Srinu Vytla has a ‘package’ system for his films. This is quite similar to S S Rajamouli. As part of the package, the storyline, script, music and other key departments are covered. But what we hear from the camp of ‘Baadshah’ is mind boggling.
It is heard that Srinu Vytla has charged a whopping Rs 11 crores for ‘Baadshah’ movie. According to the source, the jackpot hit maker took Rs 7 crores as cash and the balance Rs 4 crores is in the form of overseas rights of the film. If these figures are true then one can imagine the budget at which the film is being made.
And it is also setting a new trend. It looks like the top league Tollywood directors are matching almost on par with heroes in terms of remuneration. But then, the unwritten law is always there. One flop is enough for all the prices to come down crumbling, especially for the directors so let us see what happens in this case.
