VV Vinayak is making the film with Ravi Teja with backdrop of Vangavaeeti Mohan Ranga's story as per the inside sources. The Vijayawada backdrop is chosen for the same reason where the character those has the shades of Vangaveeti Ranga is played by Ravi Teja. The film is not the direct lift from Vijayawada politics but it holds resemblance with respect to incidents, say sources.
A few months ago Devineni Nehru had given a comprehensive interview for a News Daily and he narrated the ins and outs of Ranga's personal life and his association with him in a cinematic way. Many inside things were revealed to limited readers from that interview. As per sources Vinayak got inspired by that interview and carved a story basing on that.
So, the film is going to be an action flick with some political elements in it.
