Vivek Oberoi's Wedding Disaster!!

The celluloid Paritala Ravi had his D-Day when he tied the knot to Priyanka Alva at their venue in Bangalore. However, it appears that criticism has not spared him even on his special day. The turn this time was not of the film critics or anyone else but the gurus of fashion.
 
Apparently, Vivek and Priyanka’s outfits were designed by the ace designer Tarun Tahiliani but it turned out that the fusion between north and south cultures didn’t appeal to the eyes. While Vivek’s deep maroon, heavy brocade jacket tucked with embroidery had a velvet turban and jootis, Priyanka sported a lehenga with nearly 14 colors on it and she was overloaded with antique jewellery.
 
While the costume show was declared a flop even the fans were not happy as not many celebrities turned up for the event except for the Kannada fraternity and few Bollywood faces. The reception in Mumbai is meant to be the grand event though. Let us hope atleast Vivek’s reception makes up for it.
