He is busy shooting for the Telugu remake of Drushyam. It is a known fact that Venkatesh has been desperately trying for a hit for a very long time. His last film Masala too was a big dud at the box office.
Drushyam was a big hit in Malayalam and the storyline will surely impress the family audience that watch Venkatesh’s films. So, Venky has sacrificed his annual vacation for the sake of his film.
Incidentally, Meena is playing the heroine opposite him. In the past, they had acted in Chanti and Sundara Kanda. Both the films were big hits. Naturally, Venkatesh is looking to get lucky the third time too.
Even the film’s director Sreepriya is trying her best to make sure that she gives a hit to Venkatesh.
