This might sound unbelievable but then it is heard that Varun Sandesh gets a remuneration of 50 lakhs per film but if his film releases then the collection is just seven hundred rupees. Then what is the logic in doing films with him? This is something the producers must think very seriously.
Just because one film’s satellite rights have been sold at a good price the producers are running behind Varun blindly. It is heard that the latest release of Varun titled as ‘Priyatama Neevata Kushalama’ garnered a first day collection of just Rs 700, yes seven hundred only.
On the same day, ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ was the other film which released and it is showering huge collections. But on the other hand, it is heard that for Varun’s film the collections are not enough to even pay the theatre’s electricity bill. That clearly shows that Varun may have films on hand but he has lost it big time in terms of market and box office value.
His co-star of ‘Happy Days’ Nikhil has won with ‘Swamy Ra Ra’. Reports say that the total investment made by Sambasiva Rao, producer of ‘Priyatama Neevachata Kusalama’ has gone down the drain. There is also news that not a single person is coming forward to buy the satellite rights. This is the reality situation of Varun Sandesh and his films.
While this is the news, on the other side many are saying that the problem is with promotion of the film but not the hero. Many, including the media personnel have no idea that a film with title 'Priyatama Neevachata Kusalama' was releasing on 23rd of March until they have seen a 'releasing today' ad in dailies.
