There was a time when Udaya Bhanu was a craze among telly viewers. But all that has changed now. She is no longer in reckoning on the small screen due to intense competition.
Also, her age is not helping her get plum assignments.
Though she did try a bit, she never really succeeded in getting suitable roles in films.
She even tried doing item songs, and all her oomph did not help her bag roles.
After a long gap, she has recently acted in a film titled Madhumati. It is said that Udaya Bhanu worked really hard for the role (though it is being said that she gave producers a hard time) and is hopeful that the industry takes notice of her hard work and acting skills.
Unfortunately for her, there are hardly any expectations from the film.
Of course, the Film Nagar observers are curious as to what her role in the film is all about.
Now it is heard that the film’s unit is quite upset with her. They are complaining that they had to put up with her tantrums during the shooting and that she was not part of the promotional activity too.
So, in retaliation, the unit is said to have chopped some crucial scenes from the film. To know how far this is true, we will have to wait for the film’s release.
