First, the title for the Trivikram Srinivas – Mahesh Babu Film got changed. Earlier it was ‘Varudu’ but it became ‘Kaleja’. Then heroine also got changed and hence Anushka came in the place of Parvathi Melton. Then cinematographer changed, Yash Bhat has come in the place of Sunil Patel. Finally, even the producer changed, C Kalyan took over the reins from Singanamala Ramesh.
Now, the news is that even the director is getting changed. Sources say that Trivikram has become ‘Devadas’ in the temptation of Parvathi Melton and he has not been focusing on direction. The makers are said to be feeling that unless he is replaced, the film will not proceed further. On the other hand, even Trivikram is said to be indicating that direction is not his cup of tea and he is happy with his dialogue writing role. This he can do whenever he gets into the mood but direction requires the combination of all the 24 arts and combining them. This is not being done by Trivikram and it is heard that he has voluntarily accepted to move away from the project. Currently, he is writing dialogues for Pawan Kalyan – Jayant C Paranje movie and he is repeating the act with a Vijayabhaskar film as well.
However, it is heard that this will not be official. Trivikram will be present on the sets and the mantle would be handled by co-director or senior director. Trivikram would be giving his suggestions wherever necessary and it is up to the discretion of the new director to take it or not. Till recently, Mahesh Babu used to back up Trivikram but now, even he is said to be quite frustrated with his behavior. Even a Hollywood movie takes two years but here is one film in Tollywood which is taking three years. Ridiculous but true…
