The casting for the film "Guntur Kaaram," starring Mahesh Babu, has undergone significant changes. Initially, Pooja Hegde was selected as the main female lead, while Sreeleela was intended for a supporting role.
However, a few days ago, there was a sudden change in plans when Pooja decided to withdraw from the project, which is directed by Trivikram Srinivas. As a result, the filmmakers quickly began searching for a replacement.
Without wasting any time, they have now chosen Meenakshi Chaudhary for the action-packed drama. However, Meenakshi will now play a supporting lead, while Sreeleela has been promoted to the position of the main female lead.
The film "Guntur Kaaram" has faced several issues due to Trivikram's alleged lack of focus on the project.
According to hearsay, despite securing dates from different artists, Trivikram failed to utilize them effectively as he was preoccupied with handling other projects involving different actors. However, Mahesh Babu cannot afford to wait for the project to progress at Trivikram's pace.
He instructed him to bring in alternative actors and complete the shooting. Following these instructions, Meenakshi Chaudhary was brought on board.
Now, several other actors are also being replaced to expedite the shooting process. Mahesh is urging Trivikram to speed up as he needs to finish this project and join Rajamouli for his next film.
Mahesh has his own deadlines and is putting pressure on Trivikram accordingly.
