She was a top heroine in the south Indian film industry almost a decade ago. Her films in Telugu and Tamil were run-away hits and she had a very high demand those days.
Subsequently, her demand has started going down naturally because age was catching up on her and many talented and beautiful actresses started entering the industry. It has been ages since Trisha acted with young heroes.
In the meantime, Trisha made an attempt to get married, but it backfired after going to the extent of engagement. She desperately tried to get back her star image by doing a solo character in a horror film Nayaki, but it did not work out.
Yet, Trisha’s range has not come down with regard to her remuneration. She is doing another horror film, which has now become a trend in Tamil industry.
Though nobody bothered about watching Nayaki, she is said to be charging remuneration of Rs 1 crore for her latest film with oldest title Mohini. This is besides her additional expenses.
So, Trisha is demanding more money than present leading actresses like Rakul Preet Singh and Rashi Khanna, whose remuneration is still hovering around Rs 75 lakh!
