After going through huge slump for more than five weeks, Tollywood box office is finally ticking.
As expected summer season is showing its impact with most number of theaters registering 70 to 80 percent of audiences during the weekends. Collections on week days aren’t bad too.
Friday release Avunu 2 got very good opening across Telugu states, thanks to the promos that showed lot of promise.
Although the talk is not encouraging enough Avunu 2 could be profitable for all the parties involved due to its low production cost.
Hollywood Action Thriller Fast and Furious 7 has taken Telugu Box office by storm. This film is registering housefuls all over Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
As per trade estimates this film could well become the first Hollywood film to collect 100 crores nett at Indian Box Office.
Jil is still holding well in its second week. Collections of Friday and Saturday have been extremely encouraging for the buyers. Steady run for few more days will make it a safe venture for most of its buyers.
Stage is set for S/O Satyamurthy with film business showing stupendous growth right from the start of summer holidays. We can expect record numbers for this film as the expectations are pretty high on it.
