Harish Shankar’s masala entertainer Subramanyam For Sale has struck the chord with the ticket paying public.
It has garnered very good openings for a medium budget flick. Subramanyam For Sale was released on Thursday and has been going great guns at the box office.
Although the film’s business outside the Telugu states is not at all encouraging, it is doing very good in AP and Telangana. It will cross 10 crore share today (Sunday) says the trade reports.
The key for this film would be its performance during the week days. If it holds well during the working days Subramanyam For Sale will have high chances to break even.
Also the film will be put to test when the new releases hit the marquee. Shivam and Puli, the October first week releases are riding high on expectations and they would surely pose challenge to Subramanyam’s long run at the box office.
So a lot will depend upon the film’s performance at the ticket windows from tomorrow.
Dil Raju is aware of this and hence he and his unit were already touring the theaters to make the most in first week itself.
