Well, here's another piece of interesting gossip doing rounds in Film Nagar. Initially, it was said that Samantha was to play the leading lady in Ram Charan's film to be directed by Srinu Vaitla. Then, came the news that the role went to Rakul Preet Singh owing to some financial issues.
So, here comes another little but totally interesting twist to the story. Apparently, Samantha is fuming at Ram Charan for being booted out of the film. Though Srinu Vaitla was decided on Samantha, it is Ram Charan who made sure she exited out of the project, goes the gossip.
We are told that Samantha poured her heart out to her friends cursing Charan along the way.
It is known that Samantha hasn’t been having a good run in Telugu these days. Also, the craze for her has reduced a tad bit.
On the other hand, Rakul is the new glam diva for youngsters who like their heroines hot. So, Charan is said to have suggested to Srinu Vaitla that Rakul would be the appropriate choice for his film.
And when the hero decides, the director obliges and that’s exactly what happened here.
Poor girl, Samantha must really get her stars checked and do the needful ASAP.
On the other hand, it remains to be seen how far Rakul who hasn’t acted in a big film till date will carry off the responsibility thrust upon her.
