Smoking is injurious to health. Also smoking in public places including hotels is banned by Government of India. Still some actors don't care about this and puff their cigarettes in public places thinking nobody would mind because they are stars.
But star hotels are very particular about No Smoking rules and they don't give a damn about star status. Tollywood's leading heroine reportedly realized this hard truth recently.
According to sources, a slim and sexy actress who is in her 30's was caught smoking in the corridor of a five star hotel in Hyderabad recently. The management immediately came to her and fined her for smoking in the No Smoking zone.
Sources say she initially refused to pay the fine and created some tantrums but finally paid the Rs 2500 fine. She has habit of smoking on the sets but she didn't realize that the top end five star hotel in Hyderabad has very strict rules on smoking.
The actress from Mumbai is now in Hyderabad to participate in a big-budgeted movie shooting. She is embarrassed after this fiasco.
