This actor beat up his wife after getting drunk and is now taking experts' help to get over his alcohol addiction
This married actor, who has mostly played negative roles, had a severe drinking problem in the past, affecting his family life as well as his career. He gradually mellowed down with the support of his actor-friend, who also helped him and his kin find work in the industry. But, like they say, old habits die hard.
A source says, "He is back to his drinking ways and has become addicted to the bottle like before. He has been reporting to film sets in 'high' spirits. This has once again affected his marital life. Only recently, he got violent and beat up his wife."
The actor and his wife have mostly been living apart for the last several years and seemed happy in their own space. But ever since he got started getting sober, his wife would stay with him on and off.
The source adds, "He made life miserable for her and they had parted ways. It was much later that the couple decided to be together for their kids' sake.
