Among the many films that hit the screens, some films come with a certified hit or blockbuster written all over them. And it appears that one film that belongs to this category is ‘Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. If trade sources are to be believed, the film looks set for creating a new chapter in Tollywood.
According to latest reports, the satellite rights of ‘SVSC’ have been sold for a whopping Rs 8.5 crores. It is already reported that the overseas rights have been sold for Rs 7 crores.
Considering the budget for this multi-starrer starring Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh, half the investment has already been recovered.
Directed by Srikanth Addala and produced by Dil Raju, ‘SVSC’ comprises of Anjali and Samantha as the leading ladies. Looking at the figures this film is generating and if they are true then the prediction is that this would be a trendsetter not just at the box office but will also create a new business model while selling the satellite and overseas rights.
