Just the other day, producer Ravi Shankar Y announced that the third installment of the Pushpa series is definitely happening.
Interestingly, he confidently stated that Pushpa 3 would release in 2028.
Considering Allu Arjun’s commitments to two films with Atlee and Trivikram, as well as Sukumar’s meticulous approach to filmmaking, he claimed that Pushpa 3 would indeed hit theaters in 2028.
However, today, Bollywood media began circulating news that Sukumar and Shah Rukh Khan are planning to collaborate.
While it’s unclear whether this partnership will actually materialize, the timing of the announcement has raised suspicions.
Some speculate that Sukumar’s team leaked the news about Shah Rukh Khan to divert attention from the buzz surrounding Pushpa 3.
Insiders suggest that Sukumar is currently more focused on completing his next project with Ram Charan before considering other opportunities, such as a potential collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan or other big-star films.
As of now, Sukumar has not made any definitive decisions regarding the completion or release of Pushpa 3.
On the other hand, Bollywood media reports that Shah Rukh Khan has praised Sukumar for his storytelling prowess and expressed interest in working with him.
Sukumar, in turn, is said to have pitched a rural-themed story to SRK.
