Team Pushpa has taken everyone by surprise by announcing the release date quicker than many other big ticket films.
Even Allu Arjun fans are expecting the film to release for next Sankranthi, but the makers made an official announcement that it is releasing on August 13, 2021.
Buzz has it that the decision was made by the producers on Allu Arjun’s insistence and director Sukumar is not happy with it.
There are still 170 days of shoot left to be done and fixing the release date so early for the film of this scale only exerts pressure on the filmmaker.
Sukumar wants to shoot the film without any such additional pressures, but Allu Arjun is in a hurry to complete Pushpa by July as Koratala Siva will be free after May 13 as Acharya will be out on that day.

There might be some changes to the already announced released schedules depending upon the postponements of biggies like RRR, Pushpa and a couple of other biggies.
