Director Sukumar’s next film Pushpa is yet to begin its shoot and the director has already finalized his next with a new production house.
Producer Kedar has reportedly paid Rs 10 Cr in advance to lock Sukumar’s next for his banner.
Kedar has also spent another Rs 5 Cr in the form of advance payments for a film that may start rolling only after one and a half years from now.
Top production houses are not keen on setting any big projects at the moment. They want to wait for some more time to see how the market is after the theaters are opened.
While top producers are not daring to lock any big projects at the moment, a new producer spending Rs 15 Cr on a movie that will be launched after eighteen months has become the talk of the T town.
If everything went well Sukumar should have completed a movie after Rangasthalam by now. A lot of precious time was wasted and he should be happy to lock his next film well in advance.
