Director Boyapati has a sentiment of casting ‘former’ heroes as villains in his movies. He introduced Jagapathi Babu as the villain in “Legend”.
He roped in Bollywood’s former hero Vivek Oberoi for the villain’s role in “Vinaya Vidheya Rama”.
The latest buzz is that he has now finalized Srikanth’s name as the villain for #BB3. The film stars Balakrishna in a dual role.
Boyapati’s original choice was Sonu Sood for the villain’s role, but the actor reportedly demanded a whopping Rs 3.5 crore.
The budget will not allow such a “costly villain”. Apparently, he has also approached a couple of other stars. However, nothing has worked out for them.
He is said to be casting Srikanth as the villain. We have to wait for official confirmation.
