She is a yesteryear actress who was successful as a heroine. She acted opposite all big stars in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu and pretty soon, she was joined by her younger sister as a heroine who went on to become an even bigger star.
Both the sisters became extremely busy in films. The younger sister who ruled the roost settled down into marriage. But the elder one continued her bond with the film world by continuing as a character artiste.
