S/O Satyamurthy, the much-awaited and much-hyped film of Bunny and Trivikram has hit the screens. Collections on day one have been decent.
And if one goes by Bunny’s earlier films, then they were pretty good. Of course, the makers and trade analysts predict that the collections will continue to be good this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
But the big question on everyone’s mind is about Monday and days after Monday. Going by the reviews and public talk, the analysts are trying to figure out the range of the film.
So, it is said that Bunny has decided to get into the act of promoting the film himself.
It is being said that he has given directives to his team to put up constant updates about the film’s collections and also to put up collection records to create enough hype.
Since the film mostly got negative reviews and since the public too had ‘not very nice’ things to say about the film, Bunny is said to have enquired about the market and he is said to have told his team to work on a strategy to do instant damage control.
The first priority would be to publicise the records say sources close to the mega family.
It is said that if they can get away with the tax issues, then they are planning to get the producer to make a formal statement about the collections made during the first two days.
And director Trivikram Srinivas is also expected to hold a press conference on Monday or soon after say mega sources.
It is said that Bunny was very keen on doing S/O Satyamurthy for an image make-over.
So, it is hardly surprising that he is going all out to make sure that the film makes good money for the sake of the producers and distributors. Well, mega family surely knows its business after all!
