In terms of budget, ’Baahubali’ is the biggest film for Tollywood, a landmark project and a highly prestigious one for Rajamouli, Tollywood and MM Keeravani.
Had the legendary Veturi Sundara Rama Murthy garu been alive, he would have definitely written some songs for the movie as Keeravani considers him as his guru.
After Veturi garu’s demise, the only colossus in the lyrics department for Tollywood is Seetharama Sastry who is the person credited with bringing stardom to lyricists and who has an immense fan following.
Naturally, his fans are disappointed that Sastry has not been approached to be part of Baahubali.
“It would have been nice if Sastry garu penned at least one song for Baahubali. That would have added color to the music of the film. We are disappointed that he has not been part of this magnificent project,” said one Sirivennela fan.
Only Keeravani has the answer to this.
