Nagarjuna is playing the perfect father by sifting through all the scripts that are being shown to Akhil.
Well, he does not want to commit the same mistake he did with his eldest son Naga Chaitanya.
He had given the task of directing Naga Chaitanya to a new director for Josh and Nagarjuna regrets that decision till date.
That’s the reason why he is being extremely particular about Akhil’s debut.
Though many sittings have been happening for the past one year, Nagarjuna hasn’t found a single story that could please him.
So, you can understand the amount of interest he is showing to ensure his son has a dream debut.
It’s not just the young and new directors, Nag is being equally finicky about senior directors.
Talk in tinsel ville is that seven scripts have been readied for Akhil.
But it is heard that Nag is not happy with any of them.
Meanwhile, various workshops are being conducted to gauge which script would suit Akhil best.
Akhil has already done some trial shoots. Depending on the outcome, Nag will decide on the kind of script that will mark Akhil’s debut.
As per insiders, a lot is being spent on trial shoots. Apparently, Nag is no hurry to launch his son till he is totally satisfied with the script.
One only hopes that things will work out his way!
