Generally there is a belief that the film industry is filled with all manipulative people and the moment they see a Bakra they fleece that person to the fullest exploiting their innocence and craze towards cinema. A good example for that is the way some of the senior directors behave with new producers who want to make big in cinema.
Apparently, the new producers keep coming to senior directors in the hope of having a good start. And these directors show stars. They start off by taking a big office in a duplex or triple bedroom flat. The producer thinks he should respect the director and he obliges. Then they are setting up their own cooking unit.
This means they must have a cook cum office boy on monthly salary. Once that is done, they start having omlettes, lunches, dinners etc. Almost everyday, they keep getting special chicken curry from outside. In between all this, one scene gets discussed and this is followed by drinks. A refrigerator is also demanded and that is filled with drink bottles, soda.
As if all this is not enough, the senior directors keep having ‘Sollu’ discussion telling the producers about past days when producers used to spend lavishly on a director making the new producer feel guilty. Due to all this unnecessary stuff, the film is getting stuck midway and even if it gets completed, ultimately it doesn’t work at the box office. Beware new producers!!
