All the plans of Sekhar Kammula to wrap up “Fida” very fast and make it ready for release for Valentine ’s Day have gone for a toss. Bigger issue for him is getting USA VISA for his cast and crew again.
Sekhar Kammula planned to shoot in USA in the month of November as his story is about love between an NRI and a Telangana girl. Much of the story is set in USA and he obtained Visa’s for all the team members.
But recently Varun Tej was injured while shooting for Sreenu Vaitla’s “Mister” and he was advised to take bed rest for 6 weeks.
Although Varun Tej has recovered, the team cannot go to USA now as they have to take US Visa again as the team is now planning to shoot the movie from January to March’ 17 as against to the original plan of November – December 2016.
So, the entire schedule of Fida has gone topsy-turvy. The only solace Kammula has is that the movie’s heroine Sai Pallavi has no problem of adjusting dates for this movie as she has not signed many movies.
