Though Ram Gopal Varma keeps heaping compliments on Chiranjeevi whenever he can, it is known that both have been keeping a distance since long. While many thought it had to do with an ego clash, here is the inside version of the whole episode.
Apparently, Ramu’s dream project with Chiru was ‘Dora-The Lord’. Later, Ramu decided to drop the project. However, both were in good terms and kept in touch spending times together.
Usually, it is heard that RGV has the habit of speaking openly about anyone and everyone, albeit in a lighter vein during his ‘sitting’ sessions in nights. Even everyone around takes it in light spirit.
However, it is heard that JD Chekravarthy used this as an opportunity. Buzz is that JD went and complained on RGV to Chiru with all cock and bull stories. Well, his target was to lift a direction chance at the Konidela fort by distancing RGV from him. So, it is heard that JD projected his own version stating what Ramu meant and this is what the problem is. He also said to Chiru that RGV hates him a lot and cracks nasty jokes.
Sources say “This wrong communication led to cracks between Chiru and RGV. But then, Chiru didn’t entertain JD knowing his material as a director. Now, the actor/director is alone and frustrated. He lost both the camps (RGV and Chiru) due to his selfish attempts and ‘no talent’. That’s why he is coming up with weak movies like Money Money More Money. Or he is trying to create some publicity by passing comments on Roja of I-news channel in live show etc.”
