For all those who have been waiting eagerly for the film ‘Mahatma’ to hit the screens, they might have to wait a little longer. Apparently, this was due to hit the screens on October 2nd but now there is news that this has been postponed to 9th Oct due to few reasons.
Reports reveal that it is the Censor board that has raised objection to the film’s release. It seems there are few controversial scenes that needed editing. One among them happens to be the placement of bombs behind the statue of Mahatma Gandhi which the board thought would bring trouble.
Also, the much talked about ‘Indiramma….’ song is causing trouble as the censor members felt that it is criticizing the Congress party. Now, the temporary date has been given as October 9th but not sure if that will be the date or not.
