The latest and hottest topic which has been making waves in the filmnagar area is the slapping incident. Buzz is that producer Bellamkonda Suresh has slapped director Santosh Srinivas who is currently working on the new project deemed as ‘Kandireega 2’ starring Ram as the hero.
While grapevine says that some difference crept up regarding remuneration issue here is another side. A source close to the camp maintained it is not even sure if Bellamkonda actually manhandled Srinivas physically. On the other hand, buzz is that it was Srinivas’s way of talking which triggered the incident.
Apparently, Bellamkonda had suggested few changes in script of the second half. However, Srinivas reportedly replied bluntly that without hero’s consent he would not make amends instead of negotiating on it in a subtle way. Incidentally, it is Bellamkonda who gave a break to Srinivas with ‘Kandireega’ so this brash way of talk from the director has reportedly infuriated the producer.
The film industry is a place where creative differences are common but there is a way to handle such things and showing arrogance or high-headedness is definitely not the way. If Srinivas has behaved the way it is being mentioned, then he better change his approach.
