Sarrainodu has registered the biggest opening in Allu Arjun’s career. The film has started off its day 2 on a strong note despite the negative reviews and talk.
Morning shows and matinees were full in most of the centers, which means the film will have a solid first weekend. Real test for the film will start on Monday.
Sarrainodu is not an absolute dud like Sardaar Gabbar Singh as the film has elements that would strike a chord with the masses.
Allu Arjun’s previous film Son Of Satyamurthy too started with poor talk but went onto collect 50 crores share in its full run.
However that film was a clean family entertainer. Sarrainodu has very little to offer to the family audiences and kids.
The film’s end result will depend upon how masses embrace it. Sarrainodu should continue to remain strong at least until its second weekend if it has to get anywhere closer to the breakeven mark.
Sarrainodu should collect 55 crore to be termed as a hit. Can Allu Arjun pull it off with an average content?
