Sampath Nandi made the recently released film Gaalipatam which did not do well at the box office.
Talk in the industry is that he is now in deep financial problem.
After making the hit film Rachcha, Sampath Nandi got a chance from Pawan Kalyan. But the film did not take off as yet. So, Sampath decided to do a small film in between. But that craving of his has cost him dearly say industry insiders.
However, Gaalipatam was not produced by Sampath alone. He produced it with a few other friends.
Apparently, Sampath promised to give the first copy for a certain amount and once the group sat through the production costs, etc, it is said that his NRI friends are now demanding that he return the remaining amount.
Already Sampath Nandi is in deep trouble as many people are vying to get the opportunity to direct Gabbar Singh 2. Now, he has this new problem to deal with.
