Sundeep Kishan and Anisha Ambrose starrer "Run" has failed to bank upon the holidays season. On Day 1, the movie was not able to draw good openings despite holidays for schools.
Since the temperatures are soaring high in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the makers hoped that evening and night shows would see a jump.
But cricket match between India and Bangladesh poured water on their hopes. Collections for the night shows were awfully bad.
"Run" is the remake of a Tamil blockbuster "Neram". Although the Telugu version has stuck to the original movie's screenplay, the fun factor of the original movie is missing here.
Sundeep Kishan is hoping to bounce back with this film but he may have to wait for another movie to get a decent hit.
Will "Run" pickup the collections over the weekend despite the stiff competition from other big movie "Oopiri" which is releasing on March 25th? We have to wait and see the final report till Monday.
