According to sources close to Chiru's family, Sirish has dragged Srija into the marriage trap with the sole objective of grabbing the wealth acquired by her in the recent past. These sources say Chiranjeevi had transferred nearly Rs 32 crore into the account of Srija as a fixed deposit, when she turned major in last December. It was only after that did he come to know about her love affair with Sirish Bharadwaj. Chiranjeevi did not take it very seriously, as he was confident that he could convince Srija, as he did in the case of his eldest daughter.
But Sirish laid a trap and hatched the conspiracy to loot the booty. He hastened Srija to marry him, lest her father would change her mind. He planned everything meticulously and using his friends influence, he even got the flat at posh Begumpet area worth Rs 1 crore registered on her name. Sirish's parents also played a big role in this, but they did not come out openly. Now that the marriage got consummated, they could blackmail Srija to transfer her bank balance on his name in the name of business or establishing a software company, sources say.
