Rekha of 'Anandam' fame has every reason to change her name as 'Akshara'. Though the film was big hit , Rekha couldn't make use of the success of the film as the heroine. She slipped into oblivion for many years.
She entered into wedlock in the interregnum. The guy who married her was from Bangalore . She is not in good terms with her hubby now. She thought it was wise to resume her career afresh and rechristened herself as Akshara.
She offers health reasons for her silence instead.
