Baahubali 2 wouldn't be releasing anytime sooner. It will only make it to the theaters by summer, next year. That is not stopping buyers and top production houses to offer handsome deals to acquire the distribution rights of the film.
If the sources are to be believed, a top distribution company has come up with a whopping Rs. 150 crore offer for the Hindi version of Baahubali 2.
As per this deal worldwide distribution rights and all other rights of the Hindi version including satellite rights should be given to them.
Negotiations are still on as Baahubali 2 makers believe that this film is going to be a way more bigger sensation than that of the first one. Baahubali Hindi version alone grossed over Rs. 100 crore in India.
Baahubali 2 is going to be as big as any Bollywood biggie with the hype and expectations created by its predecessor.
If Baahubali 2 earns around Rs. 150 crore from Hindi rights, then it will set a new benchmark for a Hindi dubbed film. Even Shankar and Rajanikanth’s Robo may not be able to match up to it.
