Though it is a long gap since Anushka has been seen on the Tollywood circuit, it doesn’t mean she is idle. The awesome beauty is busy ruling the roost in Kollywood and making a strong mark. Today, Anushka is the ruling queen in Tamil Nadu and here is another example to certify that.
 
It is heard that Anushka is being roped in for a new movie which would have the big star Ajith in the lead. This is being directed by Siva of ‘Shouryam’ fame and here is the update. Sources say Anushka is getting a whopping Rs 1.25 crores as remuneration for this project.
 
If this is true then Anushka will become the highest paid actress in the southern circuit and she would be ahead of the rest by miles. Given her grace, her following and image, this is a deserving figure. As for her Telugu admirers, the good news is Anushka would be seen in ‘Damarukam’ alongside Nagarjuna.
