It’s one thing to be a leading comedian and another to be a leading man. One comedian who has moved on to become a hero is Sunil. During his stint as a comedian, he was known for his comic timing and his sense of humour, both on and off the screen.
In fact, even if Sunil talks on stage, he has people in splits. But poor guy, he seems to have lost his skill after becoming a hero.
His recently released film Bheemavaram Bullodu is an ideal example. Sunil could not stop himself from talking about the film prior to its release.
“You will laugh through out the film, right from the titles to the very end. In fact, you will laugh even after the film is over. If you don’t, then stop watching my films,” he challenged.
To cut a long story short, the film is a rehash of many films from the ’80s. Not one scene evokes laughs. So, the industry analysts feel Sunil is totally confused regarding his career and say he needs to step back and decide on either sticking to playing a comedian or a leading man.
Of course, majority opinion is that he will be better off as a comedian as he has loads of talent.
