After he had a hit in Balupu, Ravi Teja has not started a new film as yet.
It is being heard that he has become very finicky about the scripts due to which none of his films have gone on the floors. But the tinsel ville insiders insist there is a different story.
Apparently, Ravi Teja is insisting that his remuneration be increased.
It is being said that he is demanding Rs 7.5 crores post Balupu.
Earlier, he commanded Rs 5 crore. As he had a string of flops following Mirapakay, he did not get the opportunity to hike his price.
However, though Balupu was a hit, due to increase in ticket prices, it could not manage at least Rs 30 crore.
Hence, considering that Ravi Teja is a mid-range hero, the producers are worried about the film turning out to be a flop once they shell out his remuneration. And this is the reason why Ravi Teja is yet to find a producer post Balupu.
