Sometime back, it was mentioned that Vijayasanthi was gearing up to arrive with her own production ‘Rani Rudramma Devi’ but due to some inevitable circumstances, that project did not materialize. But now, it is heard that out of KCR’s strong recommendation, Ramulamma is doing a special character in ‘Rajanna’ and this role is slated to be the real life for the movie.
It is known news that this is being directed by Vijayendra Prasad, father of S S Rajamouli and the subject revolves around the period when India was not liberated and it is made on the backdrop of Telangana. The fights for the film are being designed by the tough taskmaster Rajamouli. When compared to Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna, the number of films that Vijayasanthi paired up alongside Nagarjuna is very less. She has worked with Nag in films like ‘Jaithra Yatra’ ‘Janaki Ramudu’ etc. Now, her teaming up with Nag for ‘Rajanna’ has brought about a special curiosity among the cine folks. However, the suspense factor is that whether in this film, Ramulamma will be pairing up with Rajanna or if she is coming in a different character is still a mystery.
